Aged 50 Years (or so) and self proclaimed Glitter Goth, Hilary established Mortisha's in Australia in 1980. Prior to this she trained in London for 8 Years a couture dressmaker.
Mortisha's specialises in beautifully crafted clothing for men.
Says Hilary: " My clothing is timeless and deliberately NOT fashionable- so it can be worn for many years as clients purchase and collect new pieces from my range. A design is never deleted, I just add, indulging my fervour to create. My passion is menswear as Glamour is for them as well as women. My policy is beauty, craftsmanship and longevity for my collection."
Mortisha's, established nearly 20 years ago with the owner trained in couture dress making in England before moving out to Australia and opening the shop called MORTISHA'S.
In the year 2000 she was invited to show her male and female wedding garments in the largest wedding expo to be held in Sydney and Melbourne and was the highlight of the show. Mortisha's has been invited back to again show her clothes exclusively at the largest wedding expo in 2001, 2002 and 2003 in Sydney and Melbourne.
Mortisha's has a complete range of beautiful garments for the groom, best man and also caters for the alternative bride. She is able to design or alter any of her designs to cover any and all occasions from a garden wedding through to a full medieval wedding feast with all garments showing the theme of the occasion. Mortisha's is able to design an exclusive garment for both the male and females from the simple designs or as elaborate as the client requires.
